Booth Competition
Step Up to the Challenge and Showcase Your Innovation
- 🎯 Eligibility
- The Booth Contest is open to all participating schools/organizations/agencies of the IT Fair - 2023.
- 🌟 Originality
- Entries must be new and have never been presented in any other technology/innovation contest or fair.
- 💡 Tech Innovation
- The booth must showcase the latest implementation or proposed/idea stage/prototype of any tech innovation, such as web and mobile apps, IoT, augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, and more.
- 📐 Booth Specifications
- The booth dimensions must not exceed 1.5m (W) x 1.5m (L) with a maximum height of 10ft. Each team has 6 hours for booth construction from 4PM to 10PM on June 13, 2023.
- 🎨 Booth Design and Display
- The booth design must include: (1) Name of school/organization/agency, (2) Name of the tech innovation, (3) Visually entertaining graphics showcasing the product features and functionality, (4) Use of devices or relevant technology to demonstrate the app's capabilities, if applicable.
- 👥 Representatives
- Participating schools/organizations/agencies must identify a maximum of ten (10) representatives to help set up their booth.
- 🏆 Judging
- During judging, only five (5) official attendees from the participating school/organization/agency will be assigned as booth representatives. The same rule applies during the demo of the app or tech innovation.
- ⏱️ Presentation Time
- Each participating school/organization/agency will be given a total of 10 minutes, with 5 minutes for a demo to showcase the app, explain its advantages, usability, and innovation, followed by 5 minutes for a question and answer session.
- ✅ Decision and Rules
- The judges' decision is final and binding. Selling of products/merchandise is prohibited.
- ⏰ Submission Deadline
- The deadline for submission of entries is June 10, 2023, at 11:59 PM.
